Lisa Teh is the Editor-in-chief of Couturing.com, an online blog based out of Melbourne. I caught up with Lisa during her recent trip to Bali when she visited our newly opened Little Joe Women boutique at Jl. Petitenget in Seminyak and she shared with me some of her favourite things, her thoughts on the new collection and her favourite places to stay in Bali.

 

FAVOURITE FLOWER…Peonies
 
FAVOURITE COLOUR…Blue

FAVOURITE CITY…Melbourne for living, New York for travel (and shopping!)
 
FAVOURITE HOTEL…Tough one! I love the pools at Ayana in Bali, The W Hotel for its fun personality and the Chedi Club in Bali for its luxurious grounds and amazing service
 
FAVOURITE MOVIE…I just saw Whiplash recently which I loved! I must admit I loved the first Sex & the City movie and other than that I’m partial to a good action movie!

FAVOURITE PASTIME…I love reading but find I barely have time anymore! I love travelling and meeting new people, exploring new places and experiencing new cultures.

FAVOURITE CAR…My dream car would be a black Aston Martin DB9, understated but so classy!

FAVOURITE ITEM OF CLOTHING…That question is too hard! Hahaha! I don't have a favourite as such but I have pieces that are wardrobe staples. I can’t go past a good pair of ripped skinny leg blue jeans and a black fitted leather jacket. Every woman needs to have a classic black cami (the Artemis cami is a great option) and chic white shirt (I love the My Mars Shirt). A LBD is great for emergencies or if you are a little more daring, a beautiful black jumpsuit is always a standout piece (you can't go wrong with the Flying Sparks Jumpsuit). I have a few Toni Maticevski skirts which I’m in love with. Everything he does is amazing!

WHAT I'M READING…My emails! Hahaha! I feel like my inbox is always full!

WHAT I'M LISTENING TO…I’m not even embarrassed to admit I love Taylor Swift. Have her songs on repeat during the day. Also just discovered Sam Feldt on Soundcloud and he has some fantastic playlists. We are also working with a local DJ called James Ross who is curating a monthly tracklist for us so I enjoy listing to that when I’m working.

WHAT I'LL BE WEARING THIS SUMMER… I’ve been living in my Little Joe Woman Cotton Waffle Tan and Skirt for summer! I know that’s going to be on high rotation for seasons to come and is perfect for wearing together as an all white look or mixing and matching with a blue chambray shirt or balck leather jacket.

MOST MEMORABLE VACATION…Japan in 2012 when I got engaged!

MY MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT…Getting engaged and leaving my job to work on Couturing fulltime at the end of last year.

I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT…It’s clichéd but my partner, family and friends. They keep me grounded and put things into perspective when I might be stressing out about something small.
