VALENTINES EDIT WITH GAIL ELLIOTT

I met Joe Coffey, who is my husband and business partner of our luxe, contemporary womenswear brand Little Joe Woman by Gail Elliott, at a Sydney nightclub that he used to own, on New Year’s Eve twenty three years ago! Helena Christensen was dating the late Michael Hutchence at the time and they’d invited me to Australia with them. It was my first visit to Australia and we flew to the Gold Coast from New York to celebrate Christmas with his parents. Afterwards we drove to Sydney via Byron Bay and Michael took us to Kinsela’s nightclub and introduced us to his friend Joe Coffey. Joe and I married three years later in Amagansett, The Hamptons N.Y and Helena was one of my bridesmaids along with other good friends Cindy Crawford and Yasmin Le Bon. Joe I celebrated our twenty year wedding anniversary last September.
