Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Charity

Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Charity

Ralph Lauren has been committed to the fight against cancer for more than 20 years. In 2000, he designated the iconic Polo Pony as the symbol for the Pink Pony Campaign, which is Ralph Lauren Corporation’s international initiative in the fight against cancer. Pink Pony’s mission is to reduce disparities in cancer care in medically under-served communities and to ensure that treatment is available at an earlier, more curable stage.

Our Creative Director, Gail Elliott, is a Pink Pony Ambassador and supports the campaign and it’s initiatives in raising awareness in the fight against cancer.

On Friday the 16th of August 2013, Gail participated in an exclusive Pink Pony photo shoot organised by Max Media Lab wearing the iconic Ralph Max May, one of Australia’s leading hair and makeup celebrity artists, worked alongside Gail on the day to create a flawless look. Max’s intuitive sense of artistry and skill makes him one of the most sought-after Australian Makeup artists, working along side brands such as La Mer, MAC, Becca Cosmetics and L’Oreal. Launched by Max May in 2012, MAXMADE.com.au gives women around the world a new way to interact with the world of beauty, creating a direct link between the girl on the street, and the girl in front of the lens.Lauren Pink Pony Hope tee.

Hugh Stewart is internationally recognised as a portrait and fashion photographer and highly respected in the industry – he is also a very close friend of Gail’s so she was thrilled to hear he was going to be shooting this campaign with her.

Gail will be participating in this year’s Ralph Lauren Pink Pony walk, to be held on October 9th within Centennial Parklands. Gail’s support will also be shown through pre-event publicity opportunities and creating awareness for the campaign and the cause.
