I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little more about where Little Joe Woman began and the journey behind it.
I’m Gail Elliott, co-founder and creative director.
Joe Coffey and I founded the brand in New York, then moved to Sydney, before settling in Bali, where we’ve been based for the past ten years. Each place has shaped how we live, work, and design.
As a young woman in New York during the iconic supermodel era, I worked alongside designers, photographers, models, and stylists who defined that time. It’s where I learned the value of quality, luxury, and how beautifully made clothes can transform how a woman feels.
Today, we design and make our pieces in our own Bali studio, working ethically with local makers we know and trust. Everything is created with intention, from start to finish.
Fashion is challenging. It’s ever-changing, demanding, and unpredictable. But it’s also deeply rewarding. We feel incredibly grateful to work together, to build something creative, and to share this journey with you.
